I AM SO EXCITED for this week because every outfit prompt starts with one simple detail.

A shoe.
A piece of jewelry.
A pattern.
A dress you already own.
A little tropical inspiration.

That is why I love these prompts so much. They give you one place to start.

Because sometimes getting dressed feels overwhelming simply because we are looking at too much at once. We open the closet, see everything, and suddenly nothing feels right.

Monday: Start With Your Shoes

Instead of choosing your clothes first, start with your shoes.

Your shoes can completely change the energy of an outfit. A sneaker makes something feel casual and easy. A heel makes it feel elevated. A sandal makes it feel summery. A boot can give it edge.

Tuesday: Build Your Outfit From Jewelry

You are going to love this one.

Instead of starting with a top or dress, start with the sparkle.

Choose a necklace, a pair of earrings, a cuff, a bracelet stack, or one statement piece and let that accessory inspire the rest of the outfit.

This is exactly what I did with the oversized earrings featured in my RockOn Magazine look. The earrings set the tone, and the outfit followed.
