Runway to Reality: 4th of July Edition
Hello fabulous!
I created these weekly outfit prompts for you. I wanted to make getting dressed feel simpler. Less overwhelming. More intentional.
What I didn't expect was what they would do for me.
I've always known what to wear. It's what I do for a living. Putting outfits together has never been the hard part. But somewhere over the past few years, getting dressed stopped feeling as joyful as it once did.
Like so many women, I haven't always felt like myself. My body has changed. My hormones have changed. My confidence has had its ups and downs. Even though I could still create beautiful outfits, some of the excitement quietly disappeared. I don't think I even realized it until this week.
As I started wearing these daily prompts alongside you, something shifted. Instead of seeing them as another piece of content to create, I found myself genuinely looking forward to getting dressed each morning. Not because I didn't know what to wear, but because it felt playful again.
Creative again.
Fun again.
I found myself smiling at combinations I might not have reached for, putting my own twist on a color palette that isn't naturally "me," and remembering why I fell in love with personal style in the first place.
That surprised me.
Sometimes we don't realize how much energy we're spending until something makes life feel lighter. That's what these prompts have done for me. My hope is they do the same for you.
Not because they'll tell you what to wear, but because they'll remind you that getting dressed can be one of the most joyful moments of your day. A chance to be creative. To express yourself. To reconnect with the woman looking back at you in the mirror. And even to realize you have more in your closet then you thought.
If you've been feeling a little disconnected from your style lately, maybe this week is your invitation to have fun with it again. I know it has been mine.
Now, let's get dressed!
XO, Isha
Great ideas. Thank you
